Sir: I am happy to confirm what Richard Winstone (letter, 25 July) suggests: if anyone has a serious complaint about Freemasonry it will be seriously investigated, as have, for instance, 17 complaints to local government ombudsmen since 1986. And the complainant will certainly hear the upshot.
