Sir: There may be complexities in the Northern Irish situation which I, as an American, do not understand. But might it not be a good idea for the Queen to proclaim publicly that Loyalist murders of, for example, pregnant women in front of their children, are inconsonant with loyalty to the Crown to whom these Loyalists claim fealty?
