COGNITIVE THERAPY is a treatment of demonstrated effectiveness for a significant proportion of patients. Brief it may be compared with traditional psychoanalysis, but a 'quick fix' it is not. May I correct the impression that positive results can be achieved without effort. Changing unhelpful ways of thinking nearly always requires months of hard work and commitment.
