ANDREW LONGMORE rejoices that Indian fans "wilfully and beautifully" ignored requests for them to sit down at Trent Bridge during the India vs New Zealand match ("No wonder cricket is dying here", Sport, 13 June). Maybe he would have found it less beautiful if he had spent pounds 36 (in advance of knowing which teams were playing) to go to a World Cup match, and then found all he could see was other people's backs and flags.
