Letter: Oppressive leaders should be brought to justice

I WOULD like to ask Sheila Cassidy: "Was the tax increase the only reason for the 1973 coup in Chile?" At that time, I was an irrigation engineer from the former GDR in Chile and I recall the joy the coup brought to all people, not only the rich, when this oppressive left regime ended. I, of course, used the opportunity not to go back to the GDR.

Why does nobody do a little research on the Allende regime?
