Letter: Oxford must vote in favour of pounds 20m

Sir: When faced with whinging from people such as Alexander Murray and Richard Dawkins (letters, 24 and 25 July), why do millionaires such as Wafiq Said continue to bestow their wealth on the already rich universities in the West? Surely there are more deserving places in the educationally impoverished Third World which would not only gain greater benefit but might also accept such gifts with grace and good humour.
