Sir: Yet again our politicians display their lack of principle about which they felt so strongly on the night of 22 July. Within 24 hours, the rebels' revolt was quelled at the thought of the possibility of losing an election, and thus their positions of power and influence. Euro-sceptic? I am Parlia-sceptic now.
