Letter: People cannot expect churches to live on prayer alone

Sir: If St Paul's has become too busy a place these days for passers-by to pray in peace, let me recommend swift reference to A Guide to Worship in Central London, published in paperback by London Central YMCA. It is a highly practical source of information on where to find places of worship of every kind, from Anglican to Zoroastrian.

My own tip would be All Saints in Margaret Street. Two minutes from Oxford Circus, five from Tottenham Court Road, it offers an all-day haven for reflection and worship.
