Sir: Angela Lambert's comment (23 August) is brave and pragmatic, but it dangerously blurs a line that should be crystal clear. No matter how much money the man has spent, no matter how naive the woman, no matter how much 'dancing, boozing and snogging' precedes it, sex without the consent of the woman is rape.
