Who will pay for tax cuts?" asks your leading article (8 September). Well, how about cancelling the pounds 21bn bill for the Eurofighter? Freedom from Northern Ireland would save the British taxpayer another pounds 4bn per year. Then there are the billions which could be saved in the Falkland Islands, Cyprus etc, to say nothing of the pounds 4m per day which our Trident submarines cost to maintain.

These should start to answer your question.
