LETTER : Representative salaries

Sir: I think it was about 15 years ago that my salary, as head of a department in a a large secondary school, was a few hundred pounds less than that of an MP. Now, in the same post - though not in the same job, as the workload has increased dramatically - my salary is more than pounds 11,000 lower than an MP's.
I do not think any comment is necessary.
