Sir: Since 1979 we have been led to believe that "privatisation" is central to Tory party beliefs. Evidently, in the matter of the monarchy ("Taxpayers buy the Queen a new yacht", 23 January), the Tory party believes in "nationalisation" - state subsidy of public services. Party of principle?
