SO girls at Marlborough below the age of consent have been prescribed contraceptives by their school doctor; the president of the governors says, 'I personally am nothing to do with this' ('Top school put pupils on the Pill', 23 August). Sex below the age of consent is a crime and those aiding and abetting a crime should be prosecuted. This proscription is designed to protect the innocent, immature and vulnerable.
