Sir: The innuendo in the caption of your front page-cartoon (15 February) suggests Brigitte Bardot has altered her natural appearance. While considerably older than the Independent, she has never found it necessary to alter her appearance, a proud boast that, alas, the Independent cannot subscribe to.
