Sir: Dr R Taylor says (letter, 21 January) that smoking is not allowed in pubs in Australia. Before phoning Qantas to arrange an immediate emigration flight, I decided to ring the Non- smokers' Movement of Australia, and am disappointed to report that smoking is still allowed.
