ALASTAIR Little's recipes are no doubt excellent, but the bass in Sliced Sea Bass with Soy and Shredded Vegetables is illegally under size at 1lb. Minimum retaining size for this highly valued sporting fish is 36cm - about 2lbs. It is all to do with conservation. They are not sexually reproductive until at least 2lbs.
