Sir: I read with much amusement the letters (8 and 10 February) lamenting the loss of various sporting fixtures to the satellite stations.
Good riddance, I say. The more that go, the better. No more should we have to watch endless hours of boring snooker, cricket or, even worse, darts. It may also mean that it's possible to "flick through the channels" on a Sunday afternoon without being confronted with sport on at least three stations.
