Letter: Taxi rape trial misunderstood

Sir: Anthony Brookman is surprised by a verdict of guilty on the evidence of one person against another. It will be a sad day when the quantity of the evidence is more telling than the quality.

Indeed, the logical conclusion of his argument must surely be that one should never take a taxi alone.
