Letter: The right to forget
Sir: I may not be the oldest member of the Bar but am almost certainly the most senior, having been called at Gray's Inn in 1921.
My advice to villains under police questioning is not to remain mute or to say 'no comment' but to answer either 'I don't know' or 'I have
forgotten'.
