Sir: Last Tuesday (17 September), in your series on the New Establishment, Peter Popham described the IPPR as "a think tank that is one of new Labour's most important sources of ideas." Today (25 September) we are "too shackled to traditional Labour positions to come up with anything new". For your newspaper a week is obviously a very long time in politics.
