Sir: While I enjoyed Jim White's most entertaining article about the Dead Comics Society (23 October), I, along with many others I'm sure, spotted one inaccuracy: Tony Hancock's mythical stamping ground was at Railway Cuttings, East Cheam, not East Sheen.
I only mention it in case any future plaque to commemorate one of our finest comedic talents is affixed to the wrong house]
