Letter: Underground revolt
I WOULD like to express my gratitude to the driver of the Silverlink Northampton to Euston train that I travelled on this morning. The train broke down, and was to sit on the tracks for well over an hour before being shunted to the next station. However, the driver exercised great skill by ensuring that the train had come to rest in a tunnel.
I wonder if I will ever again enjoy the bliss of sitting on a train for such a length of time and not being subjected to people shouting into their mobile phones.
