LETTER: US, not Europe, is the big threat

Sir: I have been a Conservative for 34 years and was a Conservative MP for 24. I remain a Conservative because, when the party splits over Europe, as it will, I want to be there with the pro-European section, which will also be the One Nation section. I would vote for any Conservative candidate who stands for these ideals; but, in the absence of any such candidate in our constituency, my wife and I will be voting Liberal Democrat.
