Sir: Let's get this quite clear - the way to dispel the gun culture, get rid of the knife culture, and challenge the culture of violence eating away the moral fibre of our society is obvious. You simply have a Secretary of State for Education who believes you should get teachers to hit children with sticks ... presumably the stick culture.
