Letter: Why the clergy should try going for green
Sir: With respect to clergy attire, none of your correspondents (Letters, 18 May) reach to the heights of St Francis, whose homespun cassock and sandals might have more to say to this consumer generation than fashionable black - the best clothes of the first century - or meaningfully symbolic colours.
