Sir: With the ordination of women priests, I hope we do not hear any more about lady priests.

Twice now, my attention has been jolted by television commentators using this term. We do not have gentlemen priests and I am sure that gender is thankful for this small mercy. Men and women have always been a good enough description for the Book of Common Prayer. Long may that be the case.
