Sir: While I have every sympathy with the bereaved relatives of victims of any disaster, I think the idea of being compensated for seeing the incident on TV is ludicrous. I lost my mother in a tragic road accident, which people often refer to; and yes, it brings back sad memories, but money wouldn't change that.
