Sir: The recent Greer/Hamilton affair has confirmed my fears that the House of Commons is not a legislative assembly that most British people can be proud of. I would be keen to hear the Prime Minister "understand less and condemn more" the behaviour of Members of Parliament who bring it into such disrepute. So far the silence has been deafening.
