Letters: Families reduced to penury by CSA

Sir: Polly Toynbee is wrong to imply that Network Against the Child Support Act is against the interests of single parents. In fact, Nacsa supports and advises as many "parents with care"as "absent parents".

For instance, in the case of "Mrs W" (cited in the article), the local Nacsa group has helped her fight for justice from the CSA.

I note that Polly Toynbee compares the Child Support Act with the Poll Tax. The analogy is apt - both bad law, both unfair, both unworkable and both destined to be overthrown by the time-honoured tradition of civil disobedience.
