The neglect of Welsh national figures such as Owain Glendwr is extraordinary ("Now, arise Wales, the English have our king", 8 December). But there is a silver lining to this cloud. At least Wales is spared the degrading fate of having its history distorted and trivialised by some Hollywood blockbuster.
