In Commenting about a controversial leaked document, Neal Ascherson notes the authors' belief "that the pendulum swing towards centralisation has reached its limit, and is about to sweep back".

Does this mean that tomorrow's opinion formers are seriously questioning Britain's future role in the European Union ? Logic decrees that should be the case, as the EU is the prime example of this nation's obsession with centralisation.
