THREE months' imprisonment or a fine of pounds 2,500 for anyone convicted of obstructing or disrupting country sports, or intimidating those involved in legal country sports? I stress legal as I assume that anyone protesting in public against other legal activities or bodies, such as the British National Party, or even our own legally elected Government, will face the same punishment. Is this still a democracy for everyone, or only for landed gentry or others with sufficient clout to make the Home Secretary push out such a crass piece of legislation?
