Letter: Briefly
I Was misquoted in the article on post-exposure prophylaxis ("Morning- after drugs cut HIV risk...", 2 March). I did not say the drugs are "highly toxic". I said they are potentially toxic and therefore it is important to discuss drawbacks as well as possible benefits with the patient. I said there should be no restriction on the availability of the drugs where doctors considered them clinically indicated.
