The term "Oldies", apart from being derogatory, puts everyone of a now very uncertain age into one category. I gave up driving at the age of 60 knowing that my reactions were not sufficiently quick to cope with modern traffic, whereas I have several older friends whom I would trust behind a wheel more than I would some younger people.
