Mark Watts's article "BSE boosts demand for organic milk" (11 August) failed to mention that the regulations governing production of "organic" milk allow "organic" farmers to use "non-organic" feedstuffs for up to 40 per cent of total concentrate feed. While I am entirely confident that there is not the slightest risk of BSE actually being transmitted through milk, "organic" or not, this is surely similar to the foolish virgin who was only a little bit pregnant?
