Letter: Racist slur

I MUST take issue with those who say, patronisingly, that American reactions to attempts to point out a ``Jewish conspiracy'' in Hollywood have been over-sensitive (``Hollywood accuses Cash of 'racist cant' '', 27 November). In Britain it is culturally acceptable among the elite to be openly anti-Semitic. The culture that deserves a journalist's scrutiny surely is the one which thinks Jews ought constantly to be identified.
