HUGH Wilson asks why with his "own special costs of housing" in the South- east he should be expected to subsidise the costs of postage to "someone who chooses to live" in Barra or Skye. A taxpayer on Barra or Skye may ask why he or she is expected to subsidise the tax relief on the high mortgages of "someone who chooses to live" in the South-east.
