Sir: Why do so many of your correspondents deplore wrong-way cycling down one-way streets? This has been lawful in the Netherlands for years, is being introduced in German cities (a recent trial in Aachen was accident- free) and is even now being introduced in some communes in Brussels - hitherto not a bicycle-friendly city.
