One quibble with Stephen Castle's "The Parents, the Government and the Gun" (20 October). ScotRail did offer all 28 Snowdrop representatives a return trip to London via the Caledonia Sleeper service, our only link with the capital, total value pounds 3,528. However, the campaigners wanted to travel back during the day and we don't run services from London then.
