LETTERS : Cruel fashion

MANY years ago my mother told me about the Belsen look featured in Vogue just after the war. Now the same cruel insensitivity is shown to the anniversary of the liberation of the death camps ("Outrage at `death camps' pyjamas", 5 February). I have long suspected the fashion industry, with its genetic freaks of women, exploitation of youth and obscene prices, to be depraved. Now I am certain it is.
