Colin Tudge shows the absurdity of our drug laws. Mr Tudge may have written his article while smoking a cigarette and drinking coffee. If Sir Walter Raleigh had brought cannabis back from his travels rather than tobacco the present situation might be reversed with the police seizing tobacco while everyone else passes the joint around. Should there be a referendum to decide whether to legalise cannabis?
