NO-HEADLINE
IN HIS article on the rise of multiplex cinemas ("Back to the big picture", Business, 4 December), Matthew Gwyther appears to imply that their market share of "almost 40 per cent" is disproportionate to their total of "only 700 of the 1,890 scree ns" in Britain.
As the latter figure represents 37 per cent, or almost 40 per cent, of British cinema screens, then perhaps the multiplex's market share is not quite so significant after all.
