Tell us what you want done about Bosnia

Yesterday's invitation to readers to say what should be done about the continuing bloody conflict in the former Yugoslavia attracted a big response. The three approaches for Western action that we outlined were: 1. to pull out of the former Yugoslavia, 2. to take the war to the Serbs, or 3. to maintain a UN presence while searching for a negotiated peace. So far, the responses are heavily in favour of using force to take on the Serbs.

If you have not yet done so, we urge you to tell us - and the politicians - your views. Please write to: Options for Bosnia, The Independent, 40 City Road, London EC1Y 2DB (fax: 071-962 0017).

Or, if you prefer, you can vote for one of the three options by telephoning 071-415 2211 and leaving your message on the answerphone. We apologise to all who tried to call yesterday and found the lines engaged.
