A good day for:

Tea-drinkers, particularly those who robbed a jewellery store in Auckland, New Zealand. To reach the jewellers, they broke through walls in a line of five adjoining shops, stopping half-way through - when they reached a restaurant - to brew up and have a cup of tea before proceeding with the robbery.

A bad day for:

Romance, with a recommendation from the public health ministry in Thailand to any couples planning to make love or marry on St Valentine's Day that they should take preventive measures including Aids tests. "Statistics show Aids infections are high on Valentine's Day," a spokesman from the ministry explained.
