Pop festival of the week: T in the Park
Balado, Kinross
Missing Glastonbury already? Or did you miss it? Scotland's biggest festival is here for you either way, offering some of the same from Glasto alongside a smattering of fresh pickings. Leading the charge from Worthy Farm is Friday's chalk/cheese headline pairing, indie bumpkins Mumford and Sons and dance earth-makers Chase and Status.
Elsewhere over the weekend, fellow Glasto survivors include Foals, Dizzee Rascal, Jake Bugg and Johnny Marr, while non-Glasto acts gearing up to T-off include Kraftwerk, My Bloody Valentine, Rihanna, Snoop Dogg, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Frank Ocean and, closing the weekend in a surge of strapping choruses, the Killers.
