Nominations for the 38th Annie Awards for 2010's animated films were announced December 6, by the International Animated Film Society, and the 3D hit How to Train Your Dragon dominated with a total of 15 nods.

Other's leading the nominations include Megamind, with six nods, and Shrek Forever After, which received five. Toy Story, considered the frontrunner for an Oscar win and the highest-grossing animated film of all time, got three nominations.
Dragon's other nominations were in individual achievements for Character Animation, Voice Acting and Storyboarding categories.
The nominees for Best Animated Video Game are Heavy Rain, Kirby's Epic Yarn, Limbo, and Shank. Awards will also go to television productions in various categories.
A controversy over the voting procedures led to Pixar and Disney pulling out of the voting process earlier this year. Their films, such as Toy Story 3, still received some nominations.
