Anya Taylor-Joy has opened up about her experience working on a “very secretive” film with Robert De Niro, Margot Robbie, Chris Rock, and more.

The film is by David O Russell, and it will be the director’s first release since the 2015 Joy starring Jennifer Lawrence.

Much has been kept under wraps about the movie, save for several casting announcements.

According to Deadline, Christian Bale, John David Washington, Rami Malek, Zoe Saldana, Mike Myers, Timothy Olyphant, Michael Shannon, Andrea Riseborough, Matthias Schoenaerts, and Alessandro Nivola have all joined the project.

According to Vanity Fair, the actor frowned “as if trying to make sense of all this”, adding: “But you hear these titans of cinema and I’m just like, I am a child! I am a baby. This is insane.”

Taylor-Joy, 24, recently earned the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Miniseries or Television Film for her work in The Queen’s Gambit. She was also nominated for Best Actress in a Motion Picture Comedy or Musical for her role in Emma. Russell’s upcoming film will mark her 17th part on the big screen.
