Bill Murray to appear in Wes Anderson's next film as an animated dog
'He’s doing another, like a stop motion animated kind of comedy sort of like Fantastic Mr Fox'
When Wes Anderson announced that he was making a stop motion animated film with an all-star cast including Jeff Goldblum, Bob Balaban, Edward Norton and Bryan Cranston, we all got very, very excited.
Of course, this wouldn’t be a proper Wes Anderson film without an appearance from long-term collaborator Bill Murray. Luckily, the esteemed actor has confirmed he will be appearing in the upcoming film.
“I’m playing a dog. He’s doing another, like a stop motion animated kind of comedy sort of like Fantastic Mr Fox,” he told The Playlist. "And it's a Japanese story and I'm playing a dog. I'm very excited."

Murray has previously appeared in every film previously directed by the 46-year-old, minus his debut, Bottle Rush.
The Ghostbusters actor’s most recent feature, A Very Murray Christmas, was recently released onto Netflix. He will next appear as the voice of Baloo in the 2016 adaption of The Jungle Book.
