Following 12 days of Deadpool treats from across the internet, the second official trailer has finally dropped, revealing yet more self-parodic gags and NSFW violence.
The clip keeps the Christmas theme of the recently released material going, featuring the overdubbed lines “It’s Christmas Day and I’m out for someone on my naughty list”.
Excitingly for comic-book fans, Ryan Reynolds’s character not only mentions the X-Men, he pokes fun at them and teams up with numerous members, including Colossus. Watch below.
Story wise, the second trailer reveals that Wade Wilson gets diagnosed with cancer, enters into a treatment plan with some shady looking people, gets turned into a superhero, and chases down the villain who stole his girlfriend.
Sound cliché? That’s because it is supposed too. Deadpool has a theatrical release date of 5 February 2016 in the UK and 12 February 2016 in the US
