Fast and Furious 8 teaser trailer: The Rock, Vin Diesel and Charlize Theron star in explosive first clip

As noted earlier today, it really is trailer season. In the last 24 hours we’ve had the trailers for Spider-Man: Homecoming, the Doctor Who Christmas special, and War for the Planet of the Apes.

Now, we have the new teaser trailer for Fast and Furious 8, AKA 15 seconds of cars, explosions, and Charlize Theron looking badass. Watch above.

Also starring in the upcoming film - the eight in the never-ending Fast and Furious franchise - is Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Vin Diesel, and Jason Statham.

The last film in the series managed to make over $1 billion at the worldwide box office, surpassing absolutely everyone’s expectations. The full trailer for the film debuts Monday 12 December.

The official synopses: “Now that Dom and Letty are on their honeymoon and Brian and Mia have retired from the game—and the rest of the crew has been exonerated—the globetrotting team has found a semblance of a normal life. But when a mysterious woman (Theron) seduces Dom into the world of crime he can’t seem to escape and a betrayal of those closest to him, they will face trials that will test them as never before.”
